About Kingdom Church

More than a gathering.
A way of life.

Founded on the Gold Coast in 2018, now based in Eagleby, Brisbane — we are a Spirit-filled community of wholehearted disciples, dedicated to Jesus and to one another.

Our
Story

In 2018, God gave Kyal a picture — not of a building or a programme, but of a ship. Jesus was at the helm. The water stretched out in every direction and the land ahead was not always visible. But the Captain was. That was enough.

Seven years on, that picture still tells the story of who Kingdom Church is. We have not always been able to see where we are going. But we have trusted the One holding the wheel — and He has been faithful at every turn.

We set out with one conviction: that Jesus is worth following with your whole life. Not just on a Saturday morning. Not just in theory. But completely, thoroughly, across every day of the week.

That conviction has shaped everything we are. We are not primarily a weekend event. We are a community of people committed to making wholehearted disciples of Jesus — men, women, children and families who follow Him the way first-century disciples did. Dedicated to the Messiah. Walking in holiness. Emboldened by the Spirit. And doing it together.

"I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."

John 10:10

That is what we are after. Not a comfortable religious routine. Not a social club with a Christian veneer. Real life. Deep roots. The kind of faith that transforms you from the inside — and then expresses itself powerfully through you.

We believe in both. In the inward work of God — His character formed within us — and in the outward expression of His power through us. Miracles. Healing. Prophecy. The full depth of Scripture. We don't choose between them. In the Kingdom, you don't have to.

The road is narrow, as Jesus said. But He is the gate, and life on the other side of it is more than we could have asked or imagined.

What We Believe

Four convictions that
shape everything we do.

Kingdom Church holds to the historic Christian faith and the full authority of Scripture — and takes seriously both the depth of God's Word and the power of His Spirit.

Word & Spirit

We believe the whole Bible — Old Testament and New — is the inspired, authoritative Word of God. We hold it as one unified story of redemption, not two separate books. And we believe the same Spirit who breathed the Scriptures still moves, heals, speaks, and empowers today. We do not choose between Word and Spirit. We embrace both, fully.

Messiah & Torah

Jesus of Nazareth is the promised Messiah — fully God and fully human, crucified for our sins, risen from the dead, ascended and coming again. He is not merely a great teacher but Lord and King. The Torah — God's instructions for Kingdom living — was not abolished by Jesus but fulfilled in Him. We honour the whole Bible because we honour the God of the whole Bible.

Family & Formation

Children are covenant blessing. Households matter. We build our community around families and intergenerational relationships — because formation happens in the context of shared life, not just Sunday attendance. We believe God wants to transform us from the inside — forming His character within us — and then use us for His glory in the world.

Feasts & Mission

The Appointments of the Lord — Passover, Pentecost, Tabernacles and the rest — are not religious relics. They are God's calendar for the whole earth. We observe them, celebrate them, and are formed by them. And we believe the church exists not just to gather but to be sent — multiplying disciples, raising leaders, and planting churches as the Kingdom grows.

The Team

The people who
lead and serve.

Kingdom Church is led by a team of elders and ministry leaders who are committed to the same vision — and to the people in their care.

Good News
for Israel

Good News for Israel

Kingdom Church is affiliated with and governed by Good News for Israel (GNFI) — a ministry dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel to the Jewish people and supporting the growth of Messianic and Israel-aware communities across Australia and beyond.

GNFI serves as the governing board of Kingdom Church, providing oversight, accountability, and connection to a broader movement of communities who share a heart for Israel and God's covenant purposes unfolding in our generation.

Our relationship with GNFI is not merely administrative. It reflects our conviction that the church cannot fully understand itself apart from God's covenant story with Israel — and that His faithfulness to Israel is the very foundation of our confidence in His promises to us.
