What to Expect

A Saturday at
Kingdom Church

We're a warm, Spirit-filled community — you'll find genuine people, live worship, solid Bible teaching, and kids who are well looked after. You don't need to know anything or believe anything particular to walk through the door. Just come as you are.

Worship

Live, Spirit-filled worship that is honest, passionate, and real. You're welcome to engage however feels natural — stand, sit, sing along or just listen.

Bible Teaching

Clear, grounded messages from the whole Bible — Old and New Testament together. Practical, honest, and designed to be taken into the week.

Real Community

People from all walks of life who have genuinely found something worth gathering for. Expect warmth, not performance. Expect real, not polished.

Prayer & Ministry

If you'd like prayer at the end of the service, our team is available. There's never pressure — only an open door if you need it.

Free Barista Coffee & Morning Tea

After every service we gather over barista coffee and morning tea. Our pastoral team will be there to meet you — it's the best part of the morning.

A short, open prayer meeting before the day begins. Everyone is welcome — no experience required.

Torah Portion Optional

A weekly Bible study running two tracks — First Look for those new to the Scriptures, and Main Portion for those going deeper. Open to everyone.

Family Service Main Gathering

Worship, Bible teaching, prayer, and community. Kids join us for worship then head to their own space. Usually about 75–90 minutes.

Morning Tea & Coffee

Free barista coffee and morning tea. Stay as long as you like — this is where most of the real conversations happen. Our pastoral team will be around to meet you.

Your kids are genuinely welcome — not just tolerated. Kids join the family for worship at the start of the service, then head to their own age-specific space.

Things people
usually ask

What should I wear?
Whatever you're comfortable in. Seriously — some people come dressed up, some come in jeans. There is no dress code and no judgement. Just come.
Do I need to be a Christian to come?
Not at all. Whether you're curious, sceptical, or have been away from faith for a long time — you're welcome. We ask nothing of you except to come as you are. You'll find genuine people and no pressure.
Why do you meet on Saturday?
We observe the Sabbath — the seventh day — as a biblical rhythm of rest and worship. It's one of the things that makes Kingdom Church distinctive. If you've never experienced Sabbath before, you might find it surprisingly life-giving.
Is giving expected?
Absolutely not — especially not as a first-time visitor. We pass an offering bag during the service and you're welcome to let it go past. There is no pressure and no one is watching.
What is Torah Portion?
Torah Portion is our Saturday morning Bible study at 9:00 AM. We read through the whole Bible together week by week. It runs in two tracks — one for people new to Scripture and one for those who want to go deeper. It's completely optional but many people find it the most formative part of their week.
What happens to my kids during the service?
Kids join the whole family for worship at the start of the service — they belong with us. After worship they're released to their own age-specific group (ages 0–2, 3–5, and 6–12) where they're taught the same theme as the adults. Pick-up is at the end of the service. We have dedicated leaders in every group.
