celebration

eighth day 2025

To end the Festival Season, we will be celebrating the Eighth Day.

When: Monday 13th October 2025
Time: 6:30pm
Where: Genesis Church (148 Eastlake Street, Carrara)
What to expect: Come dressed in white, and bring your heart ready to worship!
It’s going to be a night of impartation. Our team is going to be praying for people, so come ready to hear what God has to say for you this coming year.

The Eighth Day is to signify the end of the Spring Harvest & the conclusion of the Spring Feasts, where no regular work is to be done but instead a time to come together, remember, be thankful & praise God for all that He has done. Throughout history, this has been a day that signifies the reset of the Torah, the resetting of one’s life to be focused on God, a time of new beginnings and this festival will have a very significant place for each of us in the age to come.

Did you know that the scripture in Psalm 118, that says, “This is the day the the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it” is speculated, by the Rabbis, to be an inference to the eighth day celebration. This celebration is in anticipation of the New Heavens and New Earth. We simply MUST rejoice.
