Feast of tabernacles

The seventh appointment

Tabernacles 2023

Come celebrate God’s seventh appointment this Kingdom Season: Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot). Kingdom Festival is taking place Friday, 29 September 2023 – Wednesday, 4 October 2023 register at https://kingdomfestival.com

The Feast of Tabernacles (a week-long festival) represents the Messianic Age in which Jesus has returned and is ruling and reigning on this earth for a thousand years. In the time of Jesus’ return, the nations are told to attend the Feast of Tabernacles and in doing so, they will receive rain upon their land. Interesting right? No attendance, no rain. Attendance = rain. This is Bible language for the blessing and abundance of God and dependance on Him.

Throughout this week long festival, people from all around the world will be building temporary structures, called “Sukkahs” or tabernacles which are to remind us of how God brought the people of Israel out of Egypt and preserved them. He was their source and He is our source. We currently live in temporary dwellings of skin and cloth, preserved only by God’s wonder and grace and without Him we would simply cease. Praise God for our dependance on Him!!!! This event usually includes bringing palm fronds (the lulav) that get waived during praise and our celebration. The words Hosannah are used regularly!!
